Yep, because those fans in Japan are really insane…they’ve taken to slashing countries
I’m so down with Poland’s design…it’s adorable. I understand that the USA and the UK are OTP, but come on…I want me some Polish moe Ass. And for crying out loud…why is Germany still an Axis power? >.> Geeze, what is it with this damn Nazi-fetish!?

I think the idea itself is pretty cute, but well… Germany’s design sucks ó.ò
Maybe they just couldn’t think of anything else that is “typical” for germany (well… there isn’t really anything. there are a few traditional clothes but that’s a regional thing).

Ahaha, the reason why it’s called ‘Hetalia Axis Powers’ with Germany still in the ‘Nazi costume’ is because the artist intended for the comic to be a one-time only thing between Italy and Germany at first, so he went for WWII. And then it gained popularity so he decided to continue, hence Germany stayed that way 8D
I was first rooting for Germany x Italy, but the moe of USA x UK slowly took me in

I thought so…as I said, the whole Nazi thing is very interesting…especially for the Japanese. The Poland character is love. XD The US/UK pair is cute though! ^_-
